Provides assistance to crime victims and witnesses by completing the Crime Victim Compensation Program application and explaining program benefits. Victims are given information on protection orders and the criminal justice process. Also provides assistance in ordering restitution on criminal matters when appropriate and provides information and referrals to outside agencies for continued services during and after the completion of a case.
