Coordinates with agencies involved in child abuse cases to prevent trauma to the victim, and provides the following services to the family:
- Specialized, professional child forensic interviewing
- Referrals for medical examinations sensitive to a child’s needs
- Transportation to appointments during an investigation
- Point of contact as criminal cases progress
- Victim advocacy including court tours and preparation for trial
