Eligibility

- Reside in an IA-eligible WA State county: King, Whatcom, Snohomish, Skagit, Lewis, or Pierce. - Primary residence sustained major damage or was destroyed due to the disaster. - Household income is at or below 80% of HUD Area Median Income (AMI), based on household size. - Household size is used to determine assistance level. - Proof of insurance required. - Completion of an Unmet Needs Assessment is required to meet eligibility.

Submit an Unmet Needs Assessment online, call for help completing the assessment, or visit a local Disaster Assistance Center (DAC) for in-person support.

Description

Provides financial assistance to eligible households impacted by the December 2025 flooding through Washington State's Individual Assistance (IA) Program. Offers Household Needs Grants to low- to moderate-income residents whose primary residence was severely damaged by the disaster. The Washington State Military Department administers the program and requires completion of an Unmet Needs Assessment to determine eligibility for assistance. The Salvation Army is partnering with the state to help people find assistance.
