The Wills Clinic for Seniors is a special project of Snohomish County Legal Services and the Snohomish County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Volunteer attorneys will work with seniors to prepare legal wills, powers of attorney and health care directives. The clients are responsible for filling out brief questionnaires which are provided in advance. Volunteer attorneys will meet with clients, gather information to make sure that the client’s wishes will be fully carried out, and prepare the documents. A Notary Public will be on hand for formal signing of documents, so that clients leave with complete documents. The Wills Clinic for Seniors takes place three to four times a year.
Snohomish County Legal Services
An agency which provides low-income persons with free legal advice and assistance. A family law advice clinic is located in Everett. Do-it-yourself divorce and bankruptcy clinics, and a housing justice project are also located in Everett. Clients may be eligible for free attorney representation in court (pro bono case).
