Eligibility

Be uninsured and a resident of Pierce County for a minimum of three months, with a Household income below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Application process

You must be referred by your primary care physician. Patient is responsible for completing an application and ensuring the referral is complete. If your enrollment is approved by PCPA, Care Coordinators will assist in managing your care alongside our Donated Care Providers. Patients are enrolled for 12 months at a time.

Pierce County Project Access (PCPA) Donated Care program is comprised of a network of over 550 providers who pledge to donate a set number of appointments to uninsured Pierce County residents living at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). When an uninsured patient requires specialty care, their primary care provider submits a referral to PCPA. Patients can only be enrolled through physician referrals.
