The Folk and Traditional Arts in the Parks Program, offered in cooperation with the Washington State Arts Commission, offers events in state parks by musicians, dancers, craftspeople and storytellers who represent a wide variety of old and new Washington traditions.

Commission manages a diverse system of more than 120 parks and several recreation programs, including long-distance trails, boating, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling an information resource center and several discount pass programs to aid in access.
