Must be a professional or semi-professional musician AND have a serious medical or mental health condition that interferes with their ability to work. See details below. Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements: - Be a professional or semi-professional musician (performer, recording artist, composer, arranger, DJ) who performs regularly or has three widely released recordings, a professional or semi-pro music industry worker (e.g., crew, sound, lighting, etc.), or the spouse, domestic partner, or dependent of someone who meets these requirements. - Must have a serious medical or mental health condition that interferes with the ability to work. - Demonstrate financial need, such as help with living expenses or the costs of medical treatment, and have pursued other potential resources, such as hospital charity care or Medicaid, as the agency Navigators advises.

Payment Options
Provides financial aid grants in two forms and referrals for assistance outside the agency to qualifying applicants. Funds are paid directly to the creditor, healthcare provider, or other third party (utility company, applicant’s landlord, auto repair shop, etc.). - Living Assistance Grants: Covers necessary living expenses, such as rent, food, auto expenses, or utilities. May offer gift cards to a grocery store or gas station. - Medical Expense Grants: Cover most expenses from licensed practitioners relating to medical, dental, alternative medicine, or mental health care. Note: Does not provide immediate emergency rent assistance.
