From downtown Sequim:  Travel East on Washington St. to the light at QFC shopping center.  Turn right at light onto Lee Chatfield, go 1 block, turn right on Hammond St. and left into our driveway at 921 E Hammond.  From Highway 101, entering Sequim westbound:  Exit the first Sequim Exit, WASHINGTON ST.  Come to the first light at the QFC shopping center, turn left onto Lee Chatfield, and right on Hammond St.

Eligibility

Any adult, or child accompanied by an adult, who is interested in the topic may attend.

1st W, 10-11am.

Description

Offers a diabetes support group in person on the 1st Wed. of each month at 10:00am. Features speakers and discussions concerning various aspects of living your best life while diabetic. Led by Susan Sorensen, RN. See newsletter for activity calendar, and consider all of our activities.

Shipley Center

Shipley Center, the senior center in Sequim, WA, provides educational, social, and recreational activities, classes, and services, especially for those of low or moderate income ages 50 and up.  Shipley Center also provides meaningful volunteer opportunities and fun day trips to area events. Shipley Center is a dba of Sequim Senior Services, an IRS-recognized 501c3 and a WA nonprofit corporation, charity.. Tours of the building and membership info available on a drop-in basis. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Leo's Cafe, open to the public, M-F 9am-2pm is located inside Shipley Center and offers healthy affordable meals in a friendly atmosphere.
