Eligibility

Children ages birth-5. Focuses on serving
  • Families receiving public assistance (including SNAP and TANF),
  • Families experiencing homelessness,
  • Children in foster care
  • Children with special needs.

M-F, 8am-4:30pm

Fees

Prenatal, home based, and partial day, and extended day programs are free to participants.   Full-day programs may require private payments or child care subsidies for services outside Head Start funded hours.

Service area

Kitsap, WA
Provides preschool programs with full-day options that include extended day childcare and part-day options without childcare. Participants receive health, nutrition and dental assistance along with education and developmental screenings. Daily activities are designed to build school readiness skills. Programs: Part-day: 3.5 hours 4 days a week September through May Extended Day: 6 hours 4 days a week September through July Full-Working Day: 10 hours 5 days a week, year round. Home Visitation: 90 minute visits once a week year round including monthly group socializations
