Application process

Counselors, teachers, and community partners at participating schools identify students at-risk of hunger over the weekend.  Parents can check with their school counselor to see if their school is participating in this, or a similar program.

Description

Provides 2 days' worth of food to more than 1,700 children at-risk of hunger over the weekends throughout the school year. In addition, supports more than 1500 students with daily snack and/or take-home food item. Partners with more than 35 schools in Pierce County.
