Adult and Community Support Services offered at Peninsula Behavioral Health

Offers a wide range of caring services and is available to meet the needs of persons with serious mental illness. Staff with a variety of specialties offer evaluations, counseling, and prevention strategies to support individuals in the community at critical stages of life. Counseling Services:  

• Psychiatric evaluations
• Outpatient psychotherapy (professional counseling) for individuals and caregivers.
• Older adult services in the home, hospital or nursing center.
• Evaluation and outpatient treatment for individuals dually diagnosed with mental health and substance use disorders.

Community Support Services:  

• Intensive stabilization and treatment to prevent hospitalization.
• Medication management.
• Day programs to support recovery and integration into community living.
• Clinical case management, advocacy and vocational services.
• Supported employment and supported housing

Veteran Services:  

• Culturally sensitive counseling for veterans and their families
• Post Traumatic stress disorder program for armed services combat veterans and families .
• Information and referral to Veteran's Administration.

Medical Services:  

• Care coordination and consultation with primary care providers
• Psychiatric medication monitoring;
• Limited primary care services.
• Onsite pharmacy
