Located on triangle block of S Cloverdale Pl and Wabash Ave S, just east of Rainier Ave S.

Eligibility

Enrollment is based on calendar school year. Summer Academy ends in mid-August and will not open for enrollment again until the following spring. Participants should be Seattle Public School students in 3rd to 8th grade. We occasionally are able to make accommodation/space for those already in high school. Students must come from high-need families. Preference is given to Seattle Public students.

A five week summer curriculum consisting of reading, writing, math, and cultural enrichment activities for children. Students who attend Summer Academy receive: -Free breakfast and lunch -Lessons, including STEAM-related courses, taught by Certified Teachers in a small classroom setting -Opportunities to learn activities such as theater, painting, dance, and how to start a business -Field trips to places like MoPOP, iFly, the Museum of Flight, and Equine Escapes to go horseback riding -Extra coursework help from hired tutors -A moving-on ceremony and celebration
