Eligibility

Pregnant people, new and breast and chest feeding parents, infants, and children under age 5 who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and who have a nutrition risk. Must live in Washington state.

Hours

M F, 8am-4pm Tu-Th, 9am-6pm.

Application process

Call for eligibility and appointment. Follow-up appointments are scheduled every one to three months.

Helps improve the health of pregnant people, new parents, infants, and young children through: - Nutrition education - Breast and chest feeding support - Healthy foods - Health screenings and referrals Participants receive benefits through an electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card that can be used at authorized grocery stores to purchase approved foods such as milk, eggs, cereal, fruits, and vegetables. Monthly food benefits vary by participant type and household size. Provides extra foods for those breast and chest feeding, as well as iron-fortified formula for non-breastfed babies. Farmers Market Nutrition Program Participants can receive additional seasonal produce vouchers to buy local, unprocessed fruits and vegetables at authorized farmers markets.
