Disaster Preparedness offered by Skagit County's Emergency Management Department

Provides for planning, coordination, and response to hazardous material and natural, man-made, and nuclear disasters.  Provides coordination of emergency services including police, fire, medical and welfare services; communications; chemical and other special weapons defense; evacuations; transportation; temporary restoration of public utility services; and other civil protection.
