Prosecutes criminal cases and misdemeanors in Yakima County, the Criminal Division is organized into three units: the adult felony unit, the juvenile court unit, and the district court unit. It also includes an appellate unit and a victim/witness assistance unit, which provides support to all three prosecution units.

Yakima County Prosecutor's Office
Represents the interests of Yakima County and the State of Washington in criminal prosecution, provides advocacy services for victims, offers legal counsel to County officials, defends the County in civil proceedings, and establishes and enforces child support. The Office of the Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney consists of three divisions: criminal, child support, and corporate counsel (civil).
