Public and Environmental Health staff complete a variety of training to assist during an emergency.
- Hold and attend community drills and full-scale exercises each year
- Provide guidance on safety measures to the public when Air Quality is affected by wildfire, dust & volcanic ash
- Manage and dispense medications during an outbreak such as influenza or a bioterrorism threat
- Prepare Public advisories and guidance to protect citizens health
