Description

Enforces the Edgewood Municipal Code by - Investigating reported or observed violations of property maintenance, zoning, planning, special land uses, signage, and permit compliance - Educating property owners and occupants on code requirements and voluntary correction - Providing a warning and reasonable compliance period before formal action, where appropriate - Issuing Notices of Code Violation and pursuing enforcement when voluntary compliance is not achieved - Working cooperatively with Fire and Police Services on issues involving public safety - Promoting community awareness and collaboration to support safe living conditions Emergencies or immediate life-safety concerns should be reported to 911.
