Description

Administers the district's basic education programs at 20 elementary, six middle schools, four high schools, alternative senior high school and a preschool. Also administers pre-kindergarten programs, a 1-12 family/teacher consultant program and a district/home-school program. Curricula includes an emphasis on basic skills. Student-teacher ratio: 26:1.
