Eligibility
All residents of San Juan Island and their dependants qualify for a free library card. Patrons under 17 years old will be issued a youth card and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Qualified individuals wishing to receive a library card should visit the Library in person to fill out a library card application.

Visit in person. E-cards available to San Juan Island residents by applying on the library website.
Fees
No charge for residents of San Juan Island. Guest cards are available for anyone with a photo ID for a fee of $10 per month, or $100 per year.

Offers a range of activities and services which are designed to meet the information and learning needs of patrons and to facilitate their enjoyment of library resources. Included are reference services, programs which introduce and encourage reading, services which enable people who cannot access the facility to utilize library resources and special collections which provide access to a broad spectrum of general and specialized book and non-book material as well as reading material in alternative formats. Computers are available for use, with on site assistance in using computers, photocopier/printer, and 3D printer. Also offers notary services.
