Assistance may also be provided to children of deceased service members, active duty service members enrolled in commissioning or college degree programs.

Provides aid to Navy and Marine Corps active duty and retired members, their eligible family members, and survivors in times of emergency or need. Aid may be in the form of interest-free loans, grants, or combinations. Other services include budget counseling, layettes, referrals, and a volunteer training program.
