Operates a confidential peer support help line where calls are answered by specially-trained volunteers who understand what it's like to live with mental illness.   Volunteers use the principles of recovery and empowerment to provide emotional support, comfort and information to callers living with the challenge of mental illness. Provides:
  • Connection to like-minded peers who can provide emotional and mental health support
  • Mental health recovery-oriented conversations with a shared experience perspective
  • Ongoing support through regular contact
