Description
Provides interpretation and translation support for refugees and immigrants by coordinating professional interpreters and translators who speak more than 40 languages and dialects. Services include scheduling interpreters for appointments and providing written translations as needed in Snohomish County and the North Sound Area. Staff and on-call interpreters may be certified or authorized by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services for medical and social service settings. Languages served include: - Spanish - Russian - Khmer (Cambodian) - Lao - Thai - Tigrigna/Tigrinya - Amharic - Vietnamese - Arabic - Plus approximately 30 additional languages and dialects These services help participants communicate effectively with service providers and community partners.
