Eligibility

Low-income Island County residents ages 60 and older as well as those with functional disabilities who have needs that cannot be met by family members, friends, church, or other community programs.

Age Group

Coordinates volunteers to help older adults and adults with functional disabilities remain independent in their own homes. Currently accepting requests for:
  • Dog walking
  • Yard care
  • Indoor & outdoor repairs
  • Firewood provision
  • Grocery shopping
  • Housekeeping & cleaning
Services specifically excluded are friendly visiting, companionship, respite care, reassurance calls, moving assistance, and personal care tasks. All services provided on a limited basis depending on volunteer availability.
