Provides comprehensive mental health care for infants, young children, and their families. Focuses on working with parents and caregivers to build or repair relationships with their young children. Understands that difficult life circumstances and trauma can affect how young children and their caregivers relate to one another. Recognizes that with the right support, healing is possible, allowing children to return to a healthy developmental path and thrive. Strives to facilitate reflective and healing interactions, enabling children and their important adults to learn how to relate to others, regulate their emotions, communicate their needs, and navigate everyday challenges together. Partners with families to create a support plan tailored to their unique circumstances, values, and culture. Offers services for families with infants and young children, including: - Child-Parent Psychotherapy, which encompasses early relationship assessment and support, trauma treatment, and advocacy for the child in family or dependency courts and other systems, such as schools. - Resource referrals for basic needs. - Professional Early Childhood Consultation for early childhood care providers.
Navos
Provides comprehensive mental health services for King County residents. Services include case management, crisis intervention, substance use disorder treatment, mental health counseling, inpatient psychiatric treatment, and limited housing and vocational services. Also provides counseling and mental health services for families, older adults and youth.
