Callers are referred to the St. Vincent de Paul volunteers in their area who may do a home visit to determine need.  Financial services are provided through a vouchering system.  Not all services are offered in all areas.

Provides basic emergency assistance for low-income individuals and families such as rent assistance, utility assistance, prescription assistance, school supplies and hygiene needs, scholarships for parks and rec activities in addition to information and referral for the community. Also provides transportation assistance for work or appointments by offering bus passes, gas vouchers, insurance assistance, tabs, and repair on vehicles. ONLY serves Cheney School District excluding Airway Heights.

Provides fully subsidized annual transit pass to those enrolled in certain state benefit programs to be used on - King County Metro - King County Water Taxi - Access Transportation - Via to Transit - Sound Transit - Seattle Monorail - Seattle Streetcar - Trailhead Direct Provides partially subsidized annual passes (ORCA Lift) to low-income area residents. The subsidized annual pass will cover all trips from Metro to Metro, from Sound Transit to Sound Transit, and from Metro to/from Sound Transit. If a customer uses their subsidized ORCA LIFT card to pay for travel on Community Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap Transit, or Everett Transit, standard transfer rules apply for transfers within and between those transit agencies.

Operates a drop-in center for homeless adults. Offers navigation assistance for housing resources and case management. Limited bus tickets available. Free Wi-Fi and local phone usage. Operation meal service supplies two meals lunch and dinner M-F, Saturday dinner only. Can sometimes offer transportation assistance to re-unite individuals to family. A medical doctor visits the center three days per week to assist with wound care, consultation and referrals for medical care. Serves as a cooling center during hot weather. Also offers information and referral to assist clients in obtaining resources such as the following: -  Shelter -  Housing -  Health services -  Public benefits

Provides wraparound financial support to adults who are deemed incapacitated by DSHS and have no income or are enrolled in ABD. May assist with rent, move-in, utilities, hygiene supplies and transportation costs.  Provides the following for individuals approved by DSHS:  Transportation Assistance (gas card or bus pass)  Essential Needs (hygienic and cleaning supplies once per month)  Ongoing Rent/Utility Assistance (most housing situations qualify)  Limited Rental/Utility Assistance (as funds are available)  Limited Move in Cost Assistance (as funds are available)  Housing Search Assistance for those experiencing homelessness  Employment Counseling   Payments are processed to landlords and/or utility companies on behalf of program participants. HEN can only guarantee monthly payments 90 days at a time.

Discretionary dollars used to provide assistance for all basic needs (i.e., assistance with prescriptions, gas, etc.) for low-income households.  Funding comes from generous community members donating to OlyCAP's Open Doors Fund.

Provides bus passes to people that reside or work in the West Central service eligibility area. Our Place distributes 20 bus passes each service day on a first come first serve basis, through the Food Center check in table. We ask folks to respect that we have a limited number of passes to distribute and receive no more than 5 passes in a year.

Emergency assistance is geared towards sustainable positive outcomes for eligible veterans. Service officers are knowledgeable, skilled and have relationships with area partners who together with their services will often be successful in forming comprehensive and lasting solutions for clients.

File claims on behalf of veterans (all conflicts and eras) with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and see them through until resolution; A resource and referral point to veterans and their families for housing and other social services; Provide a link between veterans and the VA Medical Centers for appointments, information and transportation; A source for acquiring your military records, awards and decorations; A community advocate for veterans and primary administrator of the Whatcom County Veterans Assistance Fund since 1990; Liaison between the veteran and the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs; Provide free Whatcom Transit Authority bus passes and tokens for veterans and their families in need; Provide scholarships for veterans through Bellingham Technical College Foundation.

Provides help with basic needs, such as: food, clothing, housewares, diapers.  Limited gas vouchers & bus passes for employment or medical appointments; emergency lodging for special cases. Will consider emergency requests on a case by case basis.  DSHS Mobile Office is available twice a month.  Range Medical Mobile Unit is available for free medical care twice a month.

Provides basic government services, such as permits, planning, street maintenance and utilities. Development Services Center offers general information and the permits needed for development activity within the city limits or utility service area.

Provides some rental assistance and essential needs (hygiene products, household cleaning products, transportation support) to individuals who are disabled and unable to work for over 90 days. Clients must determine eligibility through DSHS first.

Provides partial emergency rent assistance and limited (three per session) gasoline vouchers or bus tickets. Help can only be in one area: rent, gasoline voucher or bus tickets. Only a limited number of households can be helped. Help is on a first come first served basis. Offers information and referral to other community resources.

Helps eligible veterans and family members with emergent financial assistance for expenses such as rent/housing, utilities, food, and funeral expenses

Provides Veterans with rent assistance, rental deposit assistance, move-in assistance, mortgage assistance, utility assistance, food vouchers, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, bus passes or gas vouchers, prescription drug expenses, clothing or tools for work, car repair, storage unit assistance, communication assistance, homeless services, emergency dental costs, and burial/cremation costs. Individual types of assistance have separate requirements and limits.

Provides assistance for drug and alcohol evaluations, utilities, drivers test expenses, any sort of heating, some medical prescriptions, employer directed work clothes, and transit passes in the Port Angeles area.  Does not provide assistance with rent or telephones.  Assistance is limited to $75 in a twelve month period.  You must call to schedule an appointment for an eligibility interview.

Provides financial assistance with basic needs once a year. Services include eviction-prevention rent assistance, shut-off prevention of water and electric bills, prescription expenses, and in-state bus fare for emergencies.

St. Vincent de Paul of Tacoma–Pierce County operates two service hubs that together provide a continuum of care for community members experiencing crisis, instability, or homelessness. The Community Resource Center, serves individuals and couples across Pierce County. The CRC offers walk-in access five days a week with no appointment required. Services include immediate basic-needs support such as food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and survival gear, as well as housing and shelter navigation for those experiencing homelessness. Case managers also provide assistance with mental health and substance use supports, and offer specialized navigation for Native and bilingual community members. The Family Resource Center, focuses on families with children, multigenerational households, and young adults ages 18–24. The FRC provides bilingual case management and resource navigation tailored to family and young-adult needs, including for Hispanic and immigrant populations. The site also offers on-site showers and laundry for unhoused households, along with comprehensive housing and shelter navigation designed to help families achieve stability. The Community Resource Center does not provide direct rental assistance.

Provides limited basic needs and financial assistance to eligible applicants needing help as result of a current or recent (within 6 months) intimate partner abuse situation. Services are confidential. Provides financial assistance based on funding availability with: - Utility bill arrears - Housing: funds for landlord applications and move-in costs subject to funders guidelines while funds last. No rental assistance is available. - Food/Grocery items - Basic Clothing - Hygiene items/Toiletries - Prescriptions - Eyeglasses - Bus tickets/ Transport - Diapers - Baby formula   - Other infant needs Language interpretation is available in person or over the phone.

May be able to provides homeless families and students, including unaccompanied youth, the following services:  *Assistance with school registration, even if the family or student is missing documentation such as birth certificate and immunization records. *Automatic free lunch and breakfast if available, without the need to fill out that particular form. * Assistance with keeping the student in the same school, even after moving, sometimes even if the move is to another school district. * Assistance with transportation to and from school in the form of school buses, gas vouchers, or bus passes. * Free school supplies if needed. * Free school clothes if needed. * Referrals to other services as needed.  These services continue through the end of the school year in which homelessness ends.

Offers Pierce transit bus fare (1 all-day pass per person per week) for those living in the Puyallup area. Offers use of mailing address. Mail pick up / bus pass pick up / lunch / hygiene products on Wednesdays, 11am to 1pm. Offers Lunch 11:30-1pm, Wednesdays. Prepaid Laundry card for a specific laundry mat, plus laundry detergent 2nd & 4th Wednesdays (11am - 1pm). Sorry, no gas vouchers, monthly bus passes or ORCA cards.

Provides Resource Navigation to support individual's and family's immediate and future areas of need as well as setting goals for a more sustainable future. Offers a variety of resources to help connect, provide, or work one-on-one to access items like basic utility support, limited rental assistance (City of Monroe and City of Snohomish only) transportation resources, employment, legal, and more.
