The primary goal of this service is to assist eligible clients to covered Medicaid services with vouchers for gasoline or mileage reimbursement if they have their own vehicle. For clients that live near a bus stop, tickets/tokens or passes may be available. If that is not possible, transportation is arranged using contracted providers including volunteer drivers, nonprofit providers, cabulances, and taxi companies. Transportation must be scheduled in advance; local trips require two working days' notice, for long distance trips, five working days' notice is requested. Counties served are: Benton, Chelan, Columbia, Douglas, Franklin, Kittitas, Okanogan, Walla Walla, and Yakima. For gas vouchers or reimbursement of fuel, drivers must provide copies of a valid license, signed vehicle registration, and valid vehicle insurance. These must be valid for date of Medicaid covered doctor appointment.

Provides basic emergency assistance for low-income individuals and families such as rent assistance, utility assistance, prescription assistance, school supplies and hygiene needs, scholarships for parks and rec activities in addition to information and referral for the community. Also provides transportation assistance for work or appointments by offering bus passes, gas vouchers, insurance assistance, tabs, and repair on vehicles. ONLY serves Cheney School District excluding Airway Heights.

Callers are referred to the St. Vincent de Paul volunteers in their area who may do a home visit to determine need.  Financial services are provided through a vouchering system.  Not all services are offered in all areas.

Washington State law and the Kitsap County code have established the Veterans Assistance Fund as a steady source of tax dollars to be utilized for the needs of indigent veterans and their families.  A portion of property tax collected in Kitsap County is earmarked for the VAF.  The overall goal is to assist all veterans-in-the-need back into mainstream society by ensuring they understand all the programs available to them.  Temporary emergency assistance is available for:   Rental and mortgage assistance   Energy or utilities assistance   Food assistance   Transportation assistance   Medical and prescription coverage   Burial or cremation assistance   Auto repair   Appliance repair   Clothing

Links grandparents and other relative caregivers to: - support groups, - resources, - provides education, - increases access and - offers case management along with financial support. Financial support is in the form of: - rental and utility assistance, - funds for purchases of bedding, furniture, - clothing, - food, - car repairs, - gas/bus vouchers and - medications for the child. Helps low-income veterans or spouses of veterans with funeral expenses, utilities, rent/housing, emergency medical expenses, food vouchers, gas vouchers, and applying for VA benefits. Funeral assistance is up to $1,000. Rent/Housing assistance up to $1,000 or 75% of rent, whichever is lower. Other expenses are up to $500.
