Assists low-income taxpayers with Federal tax problems before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. Services include applications for US citizenship, permanent resident/green Cards, family-based Visas, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), U-Visa, and Employment Authorization. Provides classes designed to prepare students for the US Naturalization Test. A Cuban-Haitian Program also offers assistance with work authorization, parole, and adjustment of status and citizenship.

Hosts a legal clinic specifically designed to address the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and couples. This clinic is run by QLaw Foundation in partnership with the King County Bar Association. The clinic is open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. At the clinic, an attorney will meet with clients for 30 minutes and provide individualized legal advice and information. Clinic attorneys will answer questions and provide information in a variety of areas including family law, immigration, debt and bankruptcy, divorce/dissolution, employment discrimination, and transgender legal issues.

Offers a free, one-day legal clinic to help eligible legal permanent residents apply for U. S citizenship. Volunteer immigration lawyers, paralegals and interpreters will be on site to help eligible permanent residents successfully fill out the citizenship application (N-400).

Partners with the American Immigration Lawyers Association and community organizations across Washington to provide the following services: - Information about the naturalization process - Citizenship application assistance (N-400 – including reduced fees - and 1-912 fee waiver forms) - Legal review of applications by a volunteer attorney or accredited representative Also provides free citizenship application workshops around Washington State every year. Workshops are best for people with simple applications and for people who have the confidence/ability to represent themselves after the workshops. Others can be referred to our nonprofit partners for full service or to private attorneys.
