Olympic College welcomes students from all walks of life and educational backgrounds. Others are taking courses to prepare for employment, or retraining, or to update their job skills. Some students are involved in developmental courses or basic courses to get ready for college-level studies.  With a range of professional-technical programs, convenient locations, evening, day, and weekend courses, plus an increasing variety of learning options, Olympic College responds to a wide range of educational needs. OC also offers the services necessary to support successful learning experiences, such as advising, testing, orientation, admissions, and placement, among others.

The program aims to improve the quality of the workforce, and enhance the productivity of the nation’s economy. The program provides a range of self-service and staff assisted services for adults seeking employment. Services can range from skill assessment, labor market information, consumer reports on training programs, and job search and placement assistance, to more intensive services for eligible adults who experience more difficulty obtaining employment.

Provides the following extension education programs:   Access UW Waives tuition for Washington residents 60 years or older who wish to attend classes as auditing students. If you are enrolling as an ACCESS student you may attend class with the permission of the instructor, beginning the first class day if space is available.   Distance Learning Courses Allows students to take a 6-month study at home for credit or personal enrichment. Offers wide variety of languages, writing, business and other academic courses; some are appropriate for high school students. Many courses are available via e-mail and Internet.   Evening Credit Program Coordinates evening courses at both graduate and undergraduate level that are taught by regular UW faculty and approved lecturers. Locations vary by program.   High School Students Program Administers a program for high school students entering 9th through 12th grades where they may be able to earn college credit. Courses include world languages, English, mathematics and geology.   Lecture Discussion Series Coordinates lecture services of distinguished experts in a variety of fields. Sometimes presented in conjunction with not for credit courses.   Not For Credit Classroom And Certificate Courses Coordinates a variety of academic, personal growth and professional development courses. These courses are often on a schedule reflecting the University quarter system. Additionally offers planned programs of study for professional development and personal interest. Programs are designed by University of Washington faculty and practicing professionals. Locations vary by class and program.   Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) Invites adults over age 50 to come together to share intellectual interests and make new friends. Current and retired UW faculty and community experts lead short courses in numerous subjects.

Business programs include seminars and workshops; community education; experiential learning; customized training for business, industry, agencies, and organizations; and classes for professional and business advancement.  Course work is characterized by flexibility to allow adult students opportunities to pursue professional development. Technology classes include professional, small business, computer software, and information technology (IT) training.  Sylvan Prometric testing is available on site for immediate certification.

Offers two-year degrees, certificate programs, adult basic education courses and two Bachelors of Applied Science degrees in sustainable practices and mobile applications. Also offers Running Start and GED programs. Running Start allows high school students to enroll at the college and get both high school and college credit for courses taken.

Offers both credit and non-credit classes, including adult basic education, Running Start and continuing education. Also offers business and career education classes and online classes.

Offers credit classes for Associates Degrees, Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing & Entrepreneurship, Basic and Pre-College classes, Professional Education, Job Skills Training, Customized Training, no-cost Small Business Counseling, and Continuing and Community Education classes in Business, Computers and Technology.

Partnership of five colleges and universities offering Bachelor Degree completion programs and Master's Degrees in Everett. Classes and support services are all offered on Everett Community College's campus. On-site classroom and live interactive video-conferencing programs from Western Washington University, Eastern Washington University, Washington State University, Hope International University, and University of Washington Bothell.

Continuing Education classes are here for the public, providing access to affordable ongoing education (not for college credit). Fall classes are held in person, online, or a hybrid of the two. Provides non credit courses and certificate programs of personal and professional interest to community members.

Offers non-credit community service courses designed to meet the needs of the community for professional and personal enrichment. Subject areas include the following and many others:   -  Arts and crafts -  Business and careers   -  Family life -  Fitness, sports and wellness -  Home and garden care -  Music

Offers approximately 30-40 classes per 8-week term on various subjects, including exercise, cultural issues, humanities, sciences, current events, creative arts, and wellness. Classes are offered in person and on zoom. Free lunch-time talks, open to the public, are offered throughout each term.
