Provides a variety of ways for the community to gain reliable research-based nutrition, food preservation, and food safety information.   Programs Include:   - The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) program provides eligible groups assistance in developing and implementing strategies, programs, and policies to improve nutrition and increase physical activity. It can also provide practical, hands-on nutrition education to individuals receiving or eligible to receive Washington Basic Food (food stamps) and schools where 50% or more of students receive free or reduced lunches. This nutrition education program reaches youth and adults in the Clallam community with information to help participants practice healthy eating habits and choose physically active lifestyles.   - Food Preservation and Safety program provides research-based, laboratory tested, up-to-date information to help while canning at home. WSU resources are listed for canning, drying, freezing, pickling, fermenting, jams and jellies, curing and smoking foods.  

Provides emergency food through a shopping-style USDA pantry which includes pet food. Also offers nutrition education, cooking and gardening classes. Accepts donations of pet food.

Provides opportunities that promote healthy physical, social, and emotional development for homeless and disadvantaged children and teens by providing education, healthy food, clothing, and programs to enable them with tools to build confidence and achieve their full potential to their own path to success. Programs and services vary throughout the year, school supplies & Christmas toys. EVCS has many programs and services youth can volunteer to earn community service hours, and to become involved in their community.
