Parenting Classes: - Circle of Security teaches parents to identify, understand and respond to their child's emotional needs. Provides comprehensive and up-to-date birth and family education at the most affordable price for pregnant women and their families. Program offers a full spectrum of classes covering pregnancy through parenting teens and is taught by certified childbirth educators. Learn what to expect during pregnancy and labor, parenting skills for newborn, young child, or teen, and you'll meet other people experiencing some of the same joys and challenges that go along with being a mom or dad. Pregnant patients get one-on-one support from a Certified Community Health Worker and Registered Nurse throughout their pregnancy. Also provides education on a healthy pregnancy, and helps arrange lab work, ultrasounds, and doctor visits. Postpartum services, including support with feeding your baby, breastfeeding and breast pump support/teaching, and mental health support as well as family planning services.

Provides a nutrition program and food assistance for pregnant and postpartum women and infants and children under age 5.   Offers: -  Nutrition and health assessments and education -  Breastfeeding counseling -  Vouchers for specific nutritious foods -  Health screenings and referrals -  Referrals to other health and social programs Monthly benefits are valued at approximately $150 for a family of two per month for nutritious foods. Families can also use their WIC QR code to spend summer Farmers Market benefits and monthly Fruit and Vegetable benefits at approved farmers markets and farm stores. Participants can receive $28 of Farmers Market benefits, with a maximum of $84 per family.

Kitsap Supports Breastfeeding is a network of supports for lactating parents and promotes breastfeeding / chestfeeding in our community.

Offers perinatal and early parenting support services to meet the unique needs of each family through highly qualified, culturally matched doulas and lactation support peer counselors. Programs include: Doula Services, Lactation Support Services, Peer-Support Parenting Groups, Childbirth Education, Family Support Services, and Community Events & Trainings.

Offers a variety of educational classes and resources designed to help patients manage their health conditions and keep them on their path to wellness. Parent Child Health supports families in Kitsap with multiple programs. Our staff is available to provide referrals and guidance to all pregnant and parenting families in the county in multiple languages. A free, personal nurse for first time, low income mothers. New mothers receive support, education and valuable resources to be the best parent they can be.
