Provides help to veterans in accessing VA and community services. Services may include short-term case management, onsite primary care, access to medical, mental health, and substance abuse treatment, and access to VA housing programs, including Grant and Per Diem program, HUD/VASH, Veterans Recovery House and Supportive Service for Veteran Families (SSVF) if found eligible. These grants do not provide immediate assistance, are sometimes one-time, and may include case management. Help with finding market rate or subsidized housing or linkage to community housing programs. Assistance with expediting VA Benefit claims and access to employment programs such as Supported Employment, Veterans Reintegration program, and State employment. Access to computers, clothing, and hygiene items is available onsite.

The facility also provides acute inpatient psychiatric care, substance abuse programs, a 30-bed nursing home care unit for rehabilitation, dental, optometric, audiology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy programs. Patient care is delivered by provider teams who follow the patient's care for both outpatient and inpatient treatment.

Other services vary by location. Veterans receiving care at other VA Medical Centers in Clark County and the State of Oregon can ask to transfer to another outpatient clinic.

Allows veterans to get health care from non-VA doctors if they meet certain eligibility requirements such as a wait time for care of longer than 30 days or the veteran lives more than 40 miles away from a VA care facility.
This program provides Veterans access to health care from non-VA providers if they meet certain eligibility requirements. Using this service will not impact Veterans' current VA health care or benefits.
VA only covers community care for medical needs that have been approved by a VA provider.
