ABCD focuses on preventive and restorative dental care for WA Apple Health (Medicaid)-eligible children from birth to age five, with emphasis on enrollment by age one. It is based upon the premise that starting dental visits early will yield positive behaviors by both parents and children, thereby helping to control the caries process and reduce the need for costly future restorative work.

Connects low-income veterans and their spouses with dentists who have agreed to donate free dental treatment. Veterans must have actively served for at least two years, be below 300% FPL and less than 100% disabled. Cannot help with urgent needs.
Connects low-income veterans and spouses with dentists who donate one-time, free, and comprehensive dental care. Works to provide a dental home with free dental treatment to eliminate pain, infection, and establish adequate function.
Once treatment is completed, encourages these treated veterans to continue care as regular patients to prevent further breakdown and keep the donated dental care sustainable but will then be out of pocket to them. Cannot help with urgent needs.
