Provides one-time emergency assistance funds for undocumented immigrants in Benton-Franklin Counties who are dealing with emergencies, like severe illness, loss of a job, accidents, etc., and because of their legal status, do not qualify for other state or federal programs. If applicant is approved, a check in the amount of $250-$400 will be mailed.

Provides financial assistance to children with cancer and their families through a Transportation Assistance Fund and an Emergency Assistance Fund. Transportation Assistance Fund: Covers transportation expenses such as mileage, airfare and lodging when a child needs to stay near the hospital for treatment and nonprofit lodging is unavailable. Emergency Assistance Fund: Provides $300/year in emergency assistance to families who have a child that has been inpatient or away from home for 15 consecutive days within the past three months. Assistance may be used for mortgage, rent, utility payments, childcare, health insurance premiums, car expenses, or treatment-related expenses (e.g., meals away from home, prescriptions, and parking). Subject to change depending on available funding.

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society can provide interest-free loans or grants to help with emergency needs such as:   * Emergency Transportation  * Funeral Expenses  * Medical/dental Bills (patient's share)  * Food  * Rent  * Utilities  * Disaster Relief Assistance  * Child Care Expenses  * Essential Vehicle Repairs  * Unforeseen Family Emergencies.   Servicemember or eligible family members who have an emergency need should contact the nearest NMCRS location and make an appointment to be seen by an NMCRS caseworker.   Bring your ID card and latest LES, if available, with you. If that office is closed and the emergency is of such a nature that it cannot wait until the next business day (e.g. death in the immediate family), the answering machine will provide instructions for obtaining "after hours" assistance. When there is no NMCRS office in the area, an available Coast Guard Mutual Aid or American Red Cross Office can process your request on behalf of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.

Provides emergency financial assistance to musicians and recording industry professionals in times of need.   Assistance grants may be applied to medical and dental expenses, such as doctor/dentist/hospital bills, prescriptions, addiction recovery treatment, psychotherapy and treatment for chronic illnesses.   Assistance may also be provided for emergency rent and utility payments.   Also provides addiction recovery services and support and referrals to other appropriate agencies.

Avocates assist with multiple systems of support by helping victims deal with physical, emotional, financial, and legal consequences of their victimization.  Advocates can offer:   - Crisis intervention and help coping with the trauma of violent victimization  - Assistance filing Crime Victim Compensation claims and insurance forms  - Direction to help access medical and/or mental health services  - Advocacy within the criminal justice system  - Striving to ensure victims’ voices are heard and that their opinions are considered  - Assistance completing Victim Impact Statements  - Crisis intervention including 24-hour access to an advocate at 1-866-711-2826  - Guidance through the criminal justice process  - Accompaniment to court proceedings  - Referral to other support services available throughout the community  - Personal Systems Advocacy: support of victims with public service providers, creditors, employers, insurance companies, utilities providers, etc  - Information on applying for restitution  - Assistance in the Return of Personal Property that may have been taken by law enforcement as part of an investigation.

Discretionary dollars used to provide assistance for basic needs (i.e., assistance with, prescriptions, gas, car repairs, medical expenses, etc.) for low-income households. Funding comes from generous community members donating to OlyCAP's Open Doors Fund.
