Provides comprehensive mental health care to infants, young children, and their families. Works with parents and caregivers, seeking ways to build or repair relationships with their young children. We know that many difficult life circumstances and trauma can impact the ways young children and their caregivers relate with one another. With support, healing can happen, and young children are able to get back on a healthy developmental path and thrive. IECMH therapists strive to facilitate reflective and healing interactions, where children and their important adults learn to relate to others, regulate their emotions, communicate their needs, and navigate day-to-day challenges together. We partner with families to create a support plan specific to their circumstances, values, and culture. Offers several programs that support children and parents during child’s early years and crucial stage of development. Works to make sure children's needs are met through education and nutrition. Carroll Children's Center: provides full time early education for children ages 1 month through 5 years of age. Offers a structured learning environment with bilingual staff and help from volunteers. Does not provide childcare after 6:30pm or on the weekends. Growing Hope Child & Family Development Center: expands services to low-income, high-risk children and infants through age 5, and their families. Includes 8 infant through preschool classrooms, including Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP), ECLIPSE therapeutic classrooms, and early learning classrooms. Child Care Nutrition Program: seeks to assure all children in licensed child care homes receive adequate and nutritional balanced USDA eligible meals. Provides reimbursement for nutritious snacks and meals served in family day care homes for children 1 month through 12 years of age.

Provides comprehensive mental health services to deaf and hard of hearing children, adolescents and their families. Includes inpatient care for children and adolescents if medically necessary. Clinical providers are Deaf Mental Health Specialists who are fluent in American Sign Language.

Wraparound with Intensive Services, or WISe, is an approach to helping children, youth, and their families with intensive mental health care. Services are available in home and community settings and offer a system of care based on the individualized need of the child or youth.

Team members include natural supports (such as family, friends, and religious leaders) and the professionals who work with their family (such as counselors, schools, CPS, and probation officers). Develops an individualized care plan, based on strengths and needs that respect the family's culture, values, norms, and preferences. Provides crisis intervention services to established clients, including face-to-face interventions at the location where the crisis occurs.

Child and Family Outpatient services provide an array of counseling and support services to families with children and youth who may have emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Compass Health services are designed to promote positive changes in behavior, help the child /youth and family learn appropriate coping skills, improve communication skills including learning to resolve conflict and manage emotions in a healthy manner.

Cooper House provides both mental health and occupational therapy services. Depending upon the concerns and the age of the child, we might recommend a dyadic approach, where therapist meets with the caregiver(s) and child together, or offer individual child play therapy, along with separate parent support and consultation sessions.
