The Access Center at Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is staffed with individuals possessing a solid clinical background who can provide screening for those requesting services and schedule their first appointment. The purpose of the Access Center is to streamline the admission process and to act as a comprehensive source of information regarding services available. The Access Center is designed to network with professionals in the community, other care providers, clients, family members, and other concerned parties in helping to ensure that Kitsap County residents in need of services are given assistance in a fast, efficient and conscientious manner.

Inpatient Services offered at Kitsap Recovery Center
Provides 24-hour assessment and short-term stay in a safe place for those 18 and older needing non-medical detoxification or inpatient substance abuse treatment.
The Kitsap Recovery Center, located in Port Orchard, provides both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services. KRC is state-approved and utilizes the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) treatment criteria. The facility houses 24 inpatient treatment beds and 12 sub-acute detoxification beds. KRC serves primarily low-income and Medicaid-eligible clients. It also accepts clients underinsured through BHASO funding, education and referrals to all county residents. #### Services include: - inpatient treatment program (up to 28 days); - sub-acute detoxification services (up to 5 days) - Alcohol and Drug Addictions Treatment and Support Services - case management services - outpatient chemical dependency treatment - adult drug court treatment services - information and referrals.

ACT offers rehabilitation and support services to adults experiencing severe and persistent psychosis. During the screening process, our ACT team will determine which model of care best meets the individual's needs. We offer two models of care under the ACT umbrella: Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) and Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT).
Regardless of the model of care, our full team of experts is available to provide individualized support. This team can support career and learning goals, offer peer support and mentorship, provide access to preventive healthcare, help develop healthy lifestyle choices, coordinate with medical services, and provide medication treatment and education.
